Shipping Policy

Q. What is your shipping policy?

A. All orders are shipped the next working day, depending on the time of day the order was placed and stock availability. Orders placed on Fridays will be shipped the following Monday.

We are not able to ship orders to more than one address at the same time. However, if you would like to have specific items shipped to different addresses, please place each order separately.

Due to restrictions set by our shipping carriers, we can only ship orders within the UK by our Standard, Special & Next Working Day Shipping Methods. Delivery times for Standard, Special and Next Working Day rates are within UK only. All overseas shipping is charged a flat rate of £5.00 per order.

Q. What are your shipping rates?

A. We offer two shipping options and rates for UK orders. Please note that orders placed on Friday’s will take slightly longer to arrive

Q. Will I receive a confirmation when my order has been shipped?

A. Once an order has been placed, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order and estimated delivery time depending on shipping method selected.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?

A. The normal postal delivery times for all orders delivered within the UK is five working days from date of despatch.(Please note that working days do not include weekends and UK Bank Holidays)

Q. Are there any shipping charges associated with the Free Book Offers?

A. The Free Book Offers are completely free, with no additional shipping or handling charges.

Shipping Overseas

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?

A. We aim to have your parcel despatched out to you within 24 hours and it should arrive with you within ten days. Due to variances in overseas postal services, depending on where your books are to be delivered, this can take up to 14 days.

Q. Do you provide subscriptions for overseas customers? Yes! We are more than happy to fulfil overseas subscriptions. For subscription orders placed from outside the United Kingdom we request prepayment for two month's worth of books before initiating your subscription. We accept Visa and Mastercard, as well as cheques or money orders made out in Sterling.

We do not send free introductory shipments overseas.

If you would like more information about an international order, please contact us with your name, address, and the book series you are interested in receiving. We will respond with pricing information and answers to any further questions you might have.

Q. Can I apply for free books?

A. Regrettably we cannot send free books to addresses outside of the UK.

Lost or Late Deliveries

Please allow up to ten working days for your parcel to arrive by Standard Post. If your parcel has not arrived after this period please contact our Customer Relations Dept at customer.relations@hmb.co.uk where they will be able to assist further. For UK customers who have chosen Special or Next Working Day Post please allow up to 5 days before contacting us.

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any delays incurred as a result of Royal Mail postal strikes, overseas postal service disputes or Bank Holidays and national public holidays.

Returns Policy

If you wish to return a book or parcel for whatever reason, please contact Customer Relations on the address above so that they can make a note against your account. Please ensure that book/s are sent back unread, in the original packaging and your invoice/ despatch note is included. Without this we will not be able to credit your account accordingly.

In the event that you receive a faulty book, there is no need to return this, simply contact Customer Relations and they will send you a replacement straight away.
