Rating"After struggling to finish two bboks in a row I was reading OI knew I could rely on Mrs Mortimer to deliver.
As usual almost from the first page there was a tension which kept you attention and the characters were likeable and compelling although there were a couple of jarring points.
For some reason the fact that Stazy had had two extremely brief previous affairs had to be mentioned every few pages and I found the name Jaxon jarring - it just didn't look right in print.
A mistake on the cover too, Jaxon had shoulder length hair right throughout yet the depiction has him with short hair.
The title may be slightly misleading as it is a reference to Jaxon's occupation rather than an indication of the setting - it's actually entirely in England.
But it was overall an entertaining read.
Eight out of ten."
