"A highly enjoyable new approach to Modern stories: instead of dragging the misunderstanding between her two heroes till the end of the book which is usually the case in most M&B Modern and i personally find this very frustrating, Kate Hardy cleared the air between them from the beginning and made them work on their problems all through her book like any two mature adults should do. I must also salute the highly accurate description of the places where they have been, which made the readers feel as if they were there. Great work!"

"THE EX WHO HIRED HER has a realistic hero in Jordan Smith who hasn t found a suitable partner after he broke up with Alex. And the heroine, Alexandra, is someone we connect with as she goes through so much and hits the very bottom before she rises again. Can they find a way to trust each other again after all this time? This lovely reunion romance is rich with emotion and humour and all of the characters are exquisitely rendered.
The poignant and realistic way in which they deal with their past is really magical to read."
