"Normally I'm not a big fan of "older" leads but it was easy to identify with both Joshua and Abby and Mrs Clarke writes with humour and great insight into their chartacters and their fears and "inadequacies."

Add to this an interesting semi-Outback setting and the author's ability to strike just the right blend of medical and romance and you have a compelling novel.
