Rating"In previous books Mrs McKay has used a real place as a setting, however here she has gone for a fictional town and it is harder to identify with.
Sarah is a modern, feisty and appealing heroine however I found Daniel somewhat lacking in charisma. At times his 4 year-old daughter would suddenly appear in the middle of a promising scene and this became slightly annoying.
There is nice Medical detail though and on the whole it is an enjoyable read.
Six point five out of ten."
