"Another chapter in the Lyrebird Lake saga but this somehow lacks the author's usual panache and appealing style.

I didn't find Gianni very appealing and can't really understand why Emma's reasoning in not taking steps to resolve the secret she was carrying.

But overall it is still worth a read.
