Rating"The characters are typical--the powerful, stern older brother who would like his younger siblings to make the "right", socially acceptable marriages, yet who winds up marrying a heroine from the wrong side of the social tracks. Yet, the so-called typical characters have been depicted in such a lively manner that, as a reader, you are on tenterhooks regarding their fate. I'm on the lookout for what happens to Hawk's brothers next!"
